NATIVE ON APPEARANCE
(here after referred to as NOA)

Description:

A doe or buck in which parentage can not be proven by registration papers, but
adheres to the TMGR standard of its breed. 
                              (please refer to the TMGR breed standards.)


                                                  **** NOTE ****

If you have submitted paperwork to MDGA we strongly suggest that you pursue getting you registration certificates from MDGA to submit to TMGR for registration of your animals, and/or go back to the breeder and re-create the paper trail.

Once you goat is registered with TMGR as Native on Appearance it will remain as such even if you later get your MDGA registration certificate.

How To Apply:
Fill out a NOA application indicating which breed the animal resembles.

Provide three (3) close-up photographs showing each side and a close-up of the head showing breed characteristics.

Provide a letter stating why the application is being applied for, and all known
history of the animal and known heritage.


Fees:
Include a non-refundable registration fee of
 $6 for members
 $10 for non-members.

There is a committee in place for reviewing applications.  Once the application is reviewed and accepted, the doe/buck will be registered as NOA with the designation of NOA as part of the registration number, and at the level of F1.

A NOA doe must be bred to a TMGR Experimental, American, or Purebred registered buck to produce kids which are F2. 

A NOA buck must be bred to a TMGR Experimental, American, or Purebred registered doe to produce kids which are F2.
