WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER WHEN THERE IS ALREADY AN ESTABLISHED MINI REGISTRY?
TMGR was founded by a Board of Directors who wanted to see the development, promotion, and registration of well balanced Miniature Goats. We want to support the members by being responsive to their needs. Registration applications will be sent in a timely manner, Certificates of GCH and RGCH wins will be mailed to the owners of the winning animals, a Milk program has been established to recognize those animals who excel in milk production, Breed Standards and Fault Matrix categories have been documented to assist both breeders and judges in analyzing herd potential and show standards, and Committees are in place to continue the improvement of the registry by allowing members to have a voice.
IS TMGR REGISTERING ALL MINIATURE GOATS?
TMGR is currently maintaining the Herd Book and Registrations for Miniature Dairy Goats. If we are approached by Miniature Meat Goat breeders who would like to have their own Herd Book, we will begin the process to include the breeds into the registry.
ALL MY MINIS ARE CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH MDGA. CAN I
REGISTER THEM WITH TMGR?

TMGR will accept MDGA Registered animals. Send a COPY of the paperwork, not the original, to the Registrar. Those with Milk Stars, Pluses, etc. will be recognized as such on the TMGR registration papers. A TMGR registered animal will have the opportunity to compete in TMGR Shows and win their FGCH designation, as well as Milk Stars, Pluses, etc.
WILL TMGR OFFER SHOWS?
TMGR will sanction shows for members or organization that would like to put on a show. We will assist members in organizing and promoting shows through out the year. We will also send Judges a Show Information packet for their convenience.
DO MY ANIMALS HAVE TO BE REGISTERED WITH TMGR IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN A SHOW?
At this time we will accept MDGA papers but only TMGR registered animals will receive a leg
REGISTERING WITH TWO MINI REGISTRIES WILL GET VERY EXPENSIVE FOR ME, IS TMGR OFFERING ANY DISCOUNTS?
TMGR understands the dilemma this may cause some members, however, many breeders of the Standards, Nigerians, and other breeds belong to multiple registries. We are giving Mini Breeders the choice to support and promote the best registry that fits their needs. TMGR is offering a new member discount.
